- Beardo’s second mandolin made its Kennedy Center debut in 2023, without Beardo.
- Ladidah wrote her master’s thesis on how much astronauts will vomit inside NASA’s Orion capsule after splashdown.
- Robbie played Beardo’s mandolin at the Kennedy Center.
- Ladidah built a flying wing My Little Pony guitar. It doesn’t sound great.

2009
It begins
Brothers Robbie and Eric get bored playing Metallica on Guitar Hero and switch to real instruments.
2010
And then there were 3
Beardo joins the brothers on bass.
2011
4 Makes METALLIFUN
Lah-di-da joins on rhythm guitar and main vocals.
2012
Showtime
METALLIFUN plays their first show for friends. Eric doesn’t like it.
2017
Rock them Softly
Eric retires as drummer, leaving behind an acoustic metal trio who play ridiculous acoustic covers of classic metal songs at open mics weekly.
2019
Basement Water
First 4-track EP, Basement Water, recorded and released on all streaming platforms. METALLIFUN gains 4 whole followers.
2020
Effing Covid
METALLIFUN finally plays their first show with real metal bands and then everything shuts down.
2021
Always an Opener
Secures minor celebrity status as the most ridiculous band to play at Jimmy’s Old Town Tavern every Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Mid-Summer Metal Fest.
